Finally yesterday the real beach weather came! The best wonderful beach weather, not too hot with nice winds to cool us off from time to time. As you can see, it’s the finest sand. You can’t find this particular quality of sand at many places in Sweden and not so many other places we’ve been either. It’s simply the best ever to find!
We went down to the most popular beach at Fårö, Sudersand, only a couple of kilometers away from the farm. Actually the beach starts closer to the farm than that, butt the best part of the beach is a couple of kilometers away.

After this wonderful summerday at the beach, it was time for some after beach party!!!
Almost all people from the farm were having our traditional BBQ party down by the sea at the farmers wonderful old fishing cottages.
We had marinated pork fillet as so very often and the youngsters ham, aubergine and mushroom.

Mr Lifecruisers daughter had an accident though…. She sat on the potato salad! I’ve heard of potato nose, butt potato butt….? *giggles*
As usual, I didn’t remember to take any photos of the dinner plate! I just throwed myself at it! Soon I’ll begin to take photos of the empty plates as I’ve done before… *giggles*
Normally we do have a lot of partying when we’re here, this year no different, so maybe we’ll have to go home and recover after this vacation…. *giggles*
When it got too cold down by the sea, we moved the party up to the farm again, butt not so late as earlier, only to half past one this time!

I do understand your habits on vacation. Who can go to bed on summer days and night likes this. There will be plenty of time to sleep in cold and dark winter times you know (sorry to remind you – forget it and enjoy your summer!)
Hope you can keep the summer weather you have right now and until Tor and Anna comes to visit. You all deserve that!

What an amazing scenery! How I wish they weather around here was beach weather. Unfortunately we have had a awful summer here in Denmark.

Mmmmm… the beach AND the food look sO good! I, too, am at the beach… sort of. I’m at “Galilee By The Sea”!!! LOL! I haven’t found the sandy shores yet though! And so far the only feast I’ve had is cookies and milk — but that will DO! Please DO continue to party on! I’ll check back in when I can!
I can not believe it – can it be true we would experience this wonderful place in only a short time – with both the Captain and her best companion.

Wow, sounds like you had a great time. I just want to stretch and have a sunbathing. I want to go tan, which I think will look pretty good on me. Too bad I can’t take a break from work. Maybe next month I could plan a trip with friends.
We haven’t made it to the beach…and I am missing it something fierce this summer. Moving and work sure sucks up time.
