The most heartwarming day of the year is here: Valentine. We wish you all a day filled with romantic, heartwarming experiences wherever in the world you are. Whether you are in a very romantic place with a beloved one or not, it’s what you make it to that counts.

These heartly filled cakes would be perfect as one of the Valentine gifts, even if they are displayed upsidedown here. They do looks like bum’s, don’t they? Hm…

If you wonder over the words "Bums Mums" they actually also are Swedish words meaning something like "Right Away Yummy".

Valentine’s is one of those days where you have the opportunity to surprise your wife and express your love like never before. Here are three unique ideas that you can use to surprise your wife this Valentine’s Day and have her fall in love with you all over again!

#1: Cook Dinner for Her

If your wife’s a housewife who usually spends the time in the kitchen cooking for the family, then why not surprise her by preparing a sumptuous meal this Valentine’s day? She will love you for taking out the time and put in the effort to cook for her.

However, do make sure you find a good recipe to work with if you want to her to fall in love with what you cook. Once you’re done with the cooking you can make the surprise even more surprising by setting up a beautiful candlelight dinner right at in the living room!

#2: Give Her the ‘Spa at Home’ Treatment

Want to make your gift really special? Then don’t give her the traditional gift certificate to the local spa. Instead, give her the same treatment at home. In other words, pamper her yourself and give her the best massage. Let her have the spa experience in the comfort of your home.

If you don’t think you’re good with bare hands then you can always buy oils along with massagers at a lifestyle store near you. Also, don’t forget to create the perfect ambience if you truly want her to enjoy the experience. Put on some slow, romantic music and make sure your room is dimly lit to make it more relaxing.

#3: Have Flowers Delivered

We all know that flowers will not last forever, but they still make up to be one of the most romantic gifts that you can give your wife on Valentine’s Day. The idea here is to surprise her, so don’t leave any hints beforehand. Whether she’s at home or at work, surprise her by having a beautiful flower arrangement delivered to her from Proplants.

While red roses happen to the most common choice when it comes to Valentine’s Day, you don’t have to stick to them. If your wife likes certain flowers, then it makes more sense to have them delivered instead. When she gets such a flowery surprise from you, it will not only make her smile but also make her feel very special.

Giving you all some Sunday Love by showing the hearts we did draw at our engagement beach the other day here at our summer island Fårö, Gotland island’s norther tip, at the east coast of Sweden.

The very classic romantic thing to do at a beach when you’re there with your beloved one, right? So go out there making hearts popping up everywhere people!

Mrs Lifecruiser’s shadow at our engagement beach Norsta Auren, at Fårö island, Gotland, Sweden. Just look at that fine sand quality! Excellent. One of the best beaches we’ve visited actually.

The sandy beach that is like snow is one of the best, but if we’re talking about the Sea bottom when taking a dip or the temperature, we simply can’t beat Greece’s many gorgeous beaches…

If you take a look at the shadow on the photo, you’ll notice that the angle of the shadow and the real feet look like they’re attached, very funny looking!

Happy Birthday Mr Lifecruiser!

Today it’s hubby’s birthday and we’re celebrating it on a cruise ship. We have been in Tallinn, Estonia and St Petersburg, Russia the days before and now we’re in Helsinki, Finland. Tomorrow we will be back in Stockholm again and be able to tell you all about it!

Yes, we will start in the Champagne bar and continue to a very nice dinner in the Troyka restaurant aboard, with local cuisine of Russia. I doubt it that we will choose Beluga caviar though – hubby does not like it!

Migrate as the woodpigeon

The European Woodpigeon Columba palumbus palumbus (named by Linnaeus, 1758) is common in all of Europe, except for Iceland and the most northern parts of Scandinavia and Russia. Up here in the cold north, it’s a migrant. Next winter I think we’ll follow them…

In Sweden they have become more and more common since the 70′s. We have had a pigeon couple trying to make a nest outside our window for several years, not succeeding at all. Not one single year. Meaning no pigeon babies either, despite having a lot of love-making outside our window (lol).

Last year, the pigeon wife died under brutal circumstances, we saw a lot of feathers spread all around – could have been the neighbors cat. Normally, Woodpigeon’s stay with each other for their whole life – quite an achievement, which not many humans succeed with. The pigeon were left sadly alone. He traveled solo to the south before the winter and who knows – maybe all the way to the north of Africa? He came back solo this spring too.

Therefor we were so happy when we finally saw this week that he got a new wife suddenly. Yay! And now they are obviously looking for a new house for them, maybe he will succeed with his new wife…? We’re so curious!

We too want to migrate to the south in the winter and stay away during the winter. I have said it before, but next winter, we will do it. If not being able too (read: if our Europe trip drain our wallet too much!), we will try to at least get 2 long-stays somewhere. One around November and one around January-Mars something.

We will see where too. Spain is always an alternative we love, but if we find any other better opportunity or deal, we are going with that. It depends of lots of things as what’s in the surroundings to do, are there any golf courses etc.

While we were sightseeing in Prague, we did visit the Lennon wall which represent peace and love. Mrs Lifecruiser right in the core of the heart.

To show you the photo proof of Lifecruiser Love message at the Lennon peace and love wall, I did take a close up of the text. It was difficult to write it, so don’t blame me for the bad handwriting!

I wasn’t really prepared to write on the wall, hadn’t planned to do it. If you go there – get a proper pen before going there! You simply have to write something.
