I think it is quite hard to maintain the cruise all year long and to keep up the interest. I know my interest has dropped off more during the winter months. I’m struggling to keep up with my own posts because I’m so tired just now.

I also had a hard time visiting cruise posts on blogs that were so full of adverts – the pages wouldn’t load. That is very off putting.

I don’t know if people are more busy or not, but what I noticed is that quite a lot of members are writing about a trip, a country or a city without referring to the Cruise. I agree putting things in the sidebar is not a good idea a lot of people don’t look at all what it is written there and even on the top of the blogs they don’t read ! I experienced it with my Cat on Tuesday group. Everything is written clearly and explained but when somebody new will join she asks me what she should do ! When I refer to the rules on the top of my blog they all seam to be blind ! Now I am curious to see what you will breed out ! But you are a well organized captain, so I will see !

Can’t wait to hear about your thoughts… I am sure you’ll come up with a clever idea.
I am traveling and with little time but I posted a picture today. Only: it was quickly done without elaboration so I feel it isn’t up to the cybercruise standards… I honestly wouldn’t dare to label it as “cybercruise”… but I hope you (all) enjoy the sight!!

I think it’s a good idea to make the cruises more prominent. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with what’s going on, but it’s such a shame when someone goes to the trouble of creating a wonderful post and very few people visit.
I’d offer to give you a helping hand with the marketing, but with my mother’s health the way it is now, I cannot commit to anything else. But in the future I will make the offer because I’d hate to see them stop

I do understand and agree. Blogging is a process and into every blog a little change must come now and then. Changing things for the better is always a challenge, but I’ll support you to my best ability as I travel around or even post from my daily life in Norway.

I was a bit confused as well. I love your blog and I linked you on mine and then, when I had more time, I started to go back thru the archives and the sidebar and I knew I should be doing something else/more but I really wasn’t sure what.

My plan was to get back to this when work was calmer and once I had mastered the basics of blogging – I’ve only been doing this for 2 months. The first month was dedicated to just figuring out my own layout LOL

So for me the changes won’t be changes, they’ll be brand spankin’ new.
