I love old hardware. I save it until I can find a new thing to use it on! Great color in this shot! My curiosity is piqued so I need to see what the get layed is all about!
Lifecruiser: Me too Debbie. If I only can find some, it’s popular, so other people get to it first all the time… Aha, I knew that ot would catch some interest
Many years ago, I was assistent editor for a Trade magazin for Hardware dealers. It was at the time you could go and shop real, artistic hings and other mountings one by one. Therefor it’s important, as a cultural supporter, to keep such historic details kept living and in use.
Great Photo.
Lifecruiser: Thanks TorAa I totally agree with you on that, it’s very important. I’m very grateful that there is some people that work on this matters.
Old and rusty ? Rusty things need to be oiled so take a wodka or whatever you like and old what does that mean ? Antiques are also old but have a lot of value !
Lifecruiser: Ha ha ha, I like Dr Gattinas ordinations and will follow them very careful Then it will be very crazy things in this blog…. Or maybe it will be exactly like it use to? *LMAO*
I had the perfect wordless response your blogging software kept saying “error: please enter a comment”. Technology these days keep stifling creativity.
Great photo BTW … keep smiling!
Lifecruiser: That’s why I always copy the comment before clicking submit on all comments I make everywhere. Blogger has lost my comment many, many times… Hm… I don’t like that you say that – I noticed it once yesterday too and I don’t like it! I wonder what’s up with that. I’ll have to keep an eye on it.

Lifecruiser: Me too Have a happy weekend you too!
The hinge kind of looks like a key. Maybe the owner didn’t have a mat to hide his spare key under so he hid it as a hinge on his door..
Lifecruiser: Yes, we are very practical of us here in Sweden…. *lol*

I love your pic and the colors! It all seems well taken care of: painted and rust-free.
Lifecruiser: Thanks Mar I must agree there, it’s rather well cared of actually!
