Lifecruiser has made it as a finalist in the Weblog Awards again! This year it were 4000 nominations and they choose only 500 finalist blogs, so it’s such an honor just to be one of them 
We’re placed in the category of “Best European Blog”, last year it was Best Diarist – or Diarreahist that I called it myself! *giggles*
Not only that, but Renny made it there too: Congratulations x millions!
We’re placed in the same category, which means that you have to choose between us two – if and when you decide to vote. Or vote different days for us if you can’t decide, since you’re allowed to vote every 24 hours in each category.
So, now Renny and I suddenly are competing together. I’ll not say against each other, because we’ll never be against each other in any way. This way it’s kind of win-win situation. No matter how it goes, I’m very happy for Renny too 
It’s funny, because normally I’m not at all into competitions. At all. Ask Mr Lifecruiser – who is exactly the opposite, he doesn’t rest until he has won! We have had many discussions about that…. *giggles*
It must be tough work to choose blogs – I don’t envy them that. Think about the magnitude of this task and many times very ungrateful too! Phew.
I do see it as a huge encouragement that the Weblog Awards has thought that I fit in as a finalist and I’ll do my very best to live up to the honor.
I will ENJOY the voting period (1-8 Nov) as much as possible, no matter what happens. My promise to myself this week is to simply have fun together – as usual!

I did not know we where both nominated before I came here and let me first say; Congrats with yours Captain – to me its an honor to be nominated in the same category as you! I do agree: we are not competing against, but together – as LifeCruisers always do. So as you say: Vote with your heart and since you may vote every 24 hours, you can all give us both a share up until the 8th of November.
The most important thing is to have fun – blogsphere really is – and as a network evangelist who always says: ‘Make Blogs not Wars’, your one of the best blog friend of all Captain!
