This sunday I had no ideas for writing a Green Thumb Sunday post. Totally numb from the heatwave we have.
So I just post this photos of the most Swedish summer like flowers there is: Lillie of the valley, Forget me not and the Lilacs.
They always bloom in time for the school graduation maduation.
It can’t be more smell of the summer than that

Oh I wish I had smellyvision! Happy GTS
Oh I love the smell of Lily of the Valley. It has such a sweet heady perfume like scent doesn’t it? Mmmmm
MY GTS is not up yet … soon!
I know what you mean about the heatwave! It is so hard to think straight like it is frying my brain or something!
The flowers are very refreshing and beautiful and the colors! I’d love to smell them…. ooh…
What gorgeous flowers! Im especially fond of lilacs and lily of the valley, neither of which will grow for me here in Australia (sigh) Thanks for sharing them, Cheers!
I’ve been lethargic from our own heat wave just lately, can only work in the garden very early or very late in the day. And you’ve reminded me yet again of why I need to add more blooming flowers to all of my greenery. Just lovely, and I can almost catch their scent from here.
Same fav early summerflowers as we do have. Only one is missing, which has become very rare the past years – I do not know what they are called in English – we call them Maria Nøkleblom – Primula veris. Here is a photo:
