As a bonus, just to warm up a little, I throw in when I cleaned the glass on the rocky mountain… *lol*

And yes, that is rocks from our trips on the plate on the table and the plate is actually under the table on an own little glass board which is on an arm that you can pull out. Very practical!

So have you already guessed what real tackle I choosed this week?

The common closet. It was pretty obvious, if I hadn’t been a bit unpredictable. This time by doing the thing that’s normally expected, but not from me. Just from other people that’s normal. Confusing? Good :-)

If we take a look in the upper closet it was some things that didn’t really belonged in a closet there. Like toolboxes, bed quilts and so on the hat rack.

In the rest of the closet there were a lot of other things not belonging in there either. Like 2 big move boxes filled with porcelain and glasses and only God knows which I have to do separate in another tackle. It will take me hours to go through them! The rest of it will go to the basement.

If you’re observant you can see that our 18th century and medevial clothes now is hanging on the INSIDE of the closet instead of on the outside… Now they have space down beneith, since they’re so long.

No boxes on the floor also means place to put shoes… which means that we can clean our closet in the hallway too.

Oh my god, this tackle business is tough, as soon as I’m trying to do one tackle or have done one - there’s popping up the next one even before I’m done!

This is the stuff that shall be thrown or down to the basement. The boxes with porcelain is a new tackle.

And you all know what I’m going to say now, I’m sure: to take the stuff down to the basement will be a new tackle since I’m not sure it is any free spot down there….!

That big tackle has to wait though. You all know how it is. You must gather some strength to do it. Phew x millions!

Wait! That blue bag on the right picture above is not something going down to the basement! That’s another tackle.

Anyone that want to have a guess?
(Whispering: I’ll give you a clue about the blue: Happy x 2….)

I have no idea what this could be. Is it a new shower curtain..
All your cleaning is making lots of extra space. You will have to go on a buying spree to fill the apartment up again,ha,ha..

Lifecruiser: No no no filling up again, we’re trying to empty the apartment as much as possible to be able to escape fast later…. *lol*

Great job Mrs. L! I will allow curiosity to not eat me up about the blue bag! In time you will tell us all!

Now several times you have mentioned the 18th century and medieval clothes. That I am very curious about. What do you do with them? When do you wear them and where do you wear them too? Show some pictures! Or point me to where I can read all about it!

Lifecruiser: He he… You turned the curiosity to the old clothes instead :-) I keep forgetting that you all might not know about our old clothes.

We did wear our Medevial outfits at a medevial banquet one evening when we were on Ireland. Every one complimented us for our very suitable outfit.

At my brothers birthday last saturday we did wear our medevial clothes too! We can always find some oppportunity to use them.

I guess we’re not shy of us…. *lol*

Good job! The hardest thing when we relocate items is it just produces another tackle. Then again, I guess that’s a good thing b/c it forces us to face it all. I better run . . . have a great day!
(P.S. I like the blue and the pics above. It makes me want to go on a trip somewhere off into the blue!)

Great tackle! Ok, so I don’t know if I LIKE seeing all of these tackles that everyone is doing. It is making me feel guilty and creating a looong list of things I now realize I NEED to do. I was happier yesterday when I did not have all this GUILT!!!! :???:
You can do my Hall closet for the next tacke and I will tackle your blue bag. It looks more manageable than my hall closet.

Lifecruiser: And you haven’t even seen last weeks tackles…. *teasing you* The blue bag is something very special…so we save that until next time…. *lol*

[...] November 14, 2006 at 12:25 pm · Filed under tackle it tuesday I’ve tackled many major things with my emotional shelf again this week. My photos have been well sorted into themes but it will take at least 3 months for me to composite my first 60 pages for a digital scrapbook publication. I also completed 30 days of keeping my kitchen tidy, so I deposited $44 into my savings account last night for a job well done. I’m extending the goal for another 30 days because the habit isn’t up to the “autopilot” level that i want it yet, but i’m getting close. Sewed two more shirts & another pair of trousers for my son. So here is how things stand. It sometimes confuses me - what is the objective of this game? To make my shelf empty? This shelf is a bit like my brain. More space opens when i can finish these things. There will hopefully come a time when i can bring more art back into my life, but for now - i still have things to finish first. My bonsai fig, sometimes known as Rx, is maybe about 3+ years old now. I forget what year it was when i bought him and he was such a tiny little thing when i first got him. He is like my Madonna plant - a baby tree that has experienced many extreme make overs in his whole lifetime. He’s been nude quite a number of times too, so can be quite the baldy exhibitionist but he can also have his very bushy moments too. I have quite a few pictures of him in my archives. This tree is very much like an organic book of my life. I have travelled with it for so long. The main branches are like the major chapters of my life. The sub-branches that emerge are no different to facing the forked roads in my life. Which way do i want to go? Where am i headed? I have nurtured it’s branches to do very crazy artistic things because this is what fig trees are good at. I’m not following tradition - i’m just bending the branches to the kinds of curves that I find aesthetically pleasing. It sometimes feels like i’m building a house out of a tree, or even a magical playground and sometimes i hope it might be able to turn into an asymetrical celtic knot. If he gets too bushy, life usually has far too many things going on at once so it’s good to cut back. When he gets too baldy without enough leaves because maybe some animals have tried to munch him down really badly - i don’t need to worry because he is an everlasting pool of resource. He will ALWAYS find a new way to branch out regardless of the circumstances. Nothing can stop him. He’s almost invincible! A never ending source of many beautiful metaphoric connections with life. One of my most treasured plants I haven’t slept for 38 hours in an attempt to adjust my body clock today so i’ve had to take things very easy going for today’s tackle. I didn’t know what i could do that would be small and simple until i spotted the dirty table, which reminded me of Mrs Lifecruiser’s table last week. It’s amazing how good things can feel after a very simple wipe for a glass table! [...]
