Wow, that’s a lot of countries! I wished I can do the same. Isn’t it nice that you get a job where you can travel around as if you’re on vacay and still get paid for it? The problem for me is I can’t really travel long distances quite frequently coz I usually get sick.

First of all: what a great travel blog post idea – to interview a traveller. Great to read about you Andy, let’s keep in touch.

I tried to count countries too, but are not 100% sure. Being to most European countries helps quite a bit – as you know we are just back from Budapest, Hungary. Then some in Asia, in Australia and of course in America – maybe I’m close to 30 too.

When it comes to plans, I’m glad we have on in commend this year: To the wonderful blog friend Claudie in south France.

But before that: We are spending Mid Summer in Sweden so please send some good weather vibes to Mariestad

@jen It took a lot of effort to prepare. I had a lot of help from Alex Fayle – http://somedaysyndrome.com – who asked all the right questions. He’s already written an e-Book about doing what you love, so check that out first, it is pretty good.

@caludie Yes, have mercy on me as first victim and go have a look. I have to say, I think I am pretty good competition to Mrs. Lifecruiser

@Ling, We’ve been to 21 countries together, hubby and I, since 2004. It would have been more if I haven’t had health issues of different kinds…

Great interview. Can I ask Andy how he made the switch from 9-to-5 to his current travel-related job (I most definitely want to transition into this as well. I’m serious!)? Perhaps, he could write an e-book about it? Hmmm, am I on to something here?
