Oh dear Mrs Lifecruiser, you remember very well. You know, Anna and I went from Vence via this beautiful village and the Capital of parfumes, Grasse, to Marseille Int Airport the day before we met the two of you and later the same afternoon our great friends Claudie and Pierre. What a blast of a meeting we did have;)).
Funny to think about the name wich means The Hill at the Wolf (the River down in the bottom of the narrow valley).
It’s a beautiful area and we love the small villages on the Alpine slopes.
Excellent photos as usual. The hotel looks to be our style as well.

Wow! Beautiful hotel. It is a far cry from the campsites that we stayed at in the South of France:-) Incredible views. We couldn’t get over how beautiful France is while we were driving through it. It really is an extraordinary country.

That really was a gorgeous view! Wow! We also made a round in the mountains on the way home, although in a different area. This is a trip i will remember all my life!

Hmmm I don’t know if you should go around in open top cars…I bet your hair would be interesting hehehe!

Nice to discover the trip you had after the good time we had all at home!!! St Paul de Vence is a place I love even if it is a middle age village as le Castellet or La Cadière d’Azur but specially for all the artists who were used to stay there as the painters Modigliani, Matisse, Chagall, the poet Prevert or the writer Giono. This is why this village has a special place in my heart!!! I stay tuned!!!!:-))

What a great post from a lovely place! When I saw the palm tree, I was thinking of those days we where together at Claudie & Pierre’s! and now it is just a couple of month until we see each other again in Norway.
