Wow, you have turned this into an artform. Thanks for sharing this. I usully pack way too much because I just keep throwing stuff into the bag. I should lay it all out first like you suggested.

Wow, that’s a great piece of advice to pack things in plastic bags to reduce wrinkles caused by friction. I hadn’t heard of that before, but it makes perfect sense.

(And I thought I was a pretty good packer!)

Sounds like a perfect packing list. I wonder how different it would be if travelling to the Highlands of Scotland? There’s nothing funnier than watching someone try to use an umbrella in gale force winds!

Can’t wait to say bienvenida , Captain! although I am not going to see you
You are so organized, it’s almost disgusting , lol. What are camo pants [insert question mark here, my keyboard got messed up overnight, I do not know what happened, can find the letters but not the signs…’
I always pack too much, except for our ski vacation because my suitcase is the limit and winter clothes are thick….and I can always wash my underwear and shirts in the appt.
Wishing you a great trip and loads of fun and nothing but fun . Oh, and love too, of course .:smile:

Wow you packed already ?? I am doing this just the day before otherwise I forget what I have packed. And I don’t have to worry about wrinkles because most of our stuff has the wrinkle look (blouses and shirts) and the more they are wrinkled the better they look. For 3 weeks I would only take 3 jeans in different colors and nothing else.
It’s wonderful that you leave on wednesday !! I hope you will have a smooth trip !

I’m terrible when it comes to planning and packing for a trip. A mere weekend trip would have me stashing at least twice as much as you have there for a week’s stay! My problem is I can never decide what I might want to wear while I’m away. Of course now that I’ve gained so darned much weight and refuse to buy any new clothes unless I absolutely HAVE to, my wardrobe is relatively limited these days -hard to find things that actually fit ya know!

Meticulously planned, cap’n. I never have been able to do this kind of planning. Always just dump whatever I can find into a bag at the last minute. But from the pics, I can see how helpful it can be to really be methodical about what you take along and how you pack it.
