Amazing wagon made of flowers, one of all the unbelievable creations in the flower parade called Bollenstreek in Holland. It starts in Noordwijk and ends in Haarlem (40 km). They said it was 1,5 million hyacinths and thousands of narcissus and other flowers used in the parade. Hundreds of volunteers are busy for months making the floats as beautiful and striking as possible. It was so worth the trip there last spring! NOTE: It was a little bit early for the year though to actually see a lot of Tulips, which I wanted too, so I guess I have to go there some time again! |

I am really enjoying this theme!
Mines up!
Your photo is equally beautiful.
Have a nice weekend!
That is lovely. I guess every country does flower floats. I think that must be such hard work to work with that amount of flowers.
Wow, that is a long parade. Also a lot of flowers (if they are using daffodils and hyacinths in the floats, then yes, it’s a bit too early for the best tulips). You will have to go back for a visit so you can take pictures of all the tulips.
Very cool.
Mine is up!

this is what I love about the Photo Hunt….seing things from just about everywhere! I always wonder how they do those floats! Absolutely beautiful!
Wow - that is amazing!!!
Beautiful! Here, there is in California, the Rose Bowl Parade every New Years Day and all the floats are done in flowers. Some of them are very spectacular.
It’s followed by a collegiate championship (American style) football game.
Great choice - I can’t imagine how much work would go into building one of those.
This is my favorite theme!! Love the flower float!!
Happy Saturday!
That is wonderful!
That’s a great float, I love it!

Amazing
Ohh I’m going to have to visit, I didn’t even know about it lol. It’s really beautiful, and so much work has gone into it! Thnx for sharing
Lifecruiser: I was very curious of what you should say about this one! It’s held in the end of April every year, this year 22 april and ends in Haarlem which is a very nice place for it. Do go there next year, the floats are so FANTASTIC. They were very creative, there were a ship with captain and sailors, tenniscourt, giant flowers, tanks and peece signs - what ever you can think of!
Wow! That is a fabulous float! Thank you for sharing that…I love seeing things people get to see and do on their vacations. FAB! Stacie
