Mrs Lifecruisers contribution to theme Sleeping
Paraguyan chic chicken
sleeping at a local family’s hacienda where we were invited to eat lunch (not chicken!) one day. But I’m afraid that we ate one of their pigs… They only had one pig left poking around there and what we ate most certainly were loin of pork. Paraguay is a very poor country and the people live a “simple” life that not always is that simple. So we were very proud over the honor to have lunch in their home. The paraguayan people is very friendly.

NOTE: Every comment is equally welcome, even if you’re not participating in this Photo Hunt-thing, we LOVE all comments :-)

    That is so cute.

    In Newfoundland folks can have chickens and ducks on their property, but in Ontario we cannot have chickens and ducks unless we are zoned Rural.
    I miss fowl hangin around.

    Lifecruiser: It’s the same over here, ahh those regulations….

    How sweet, and different to what I’ve seen so far this week, apart from a fox photo. It must have been quite an experience to have eaten with a paraguayan family.

    Have a great weekend :=)

    Lifecruiser: Yes, it truly was! As you, we don’t have any sweet baby pictures - and nor any cute pets either, so what to do? I was thinking of one of us, but nah, that wasn’t particularly sweet or even funny… *lol* hope you’re having a wonderful free weekend too!

    I first had to take a touble-take if I was at the right blog - you sure went pink. I think it is wonderful that you point out the breast cancer awareness. I just posted something on Friday on my blog about it…
    Have a wonderful Sunday :)

    Lifecruiser: Yes, it sure is. And this blog sure is pink, ha ha. I’m sure it will feel pale when October ends and I’m leaving this look…

    That little chickie is so cute! I don’t think I’ve seen one quite like that before.

    Lifecruiser: It sure is. The most common chichens over here, dont like that, we have all yellow chickens without any other colors.
