Whenever we go on vacation (Nothing as exotic as your trips, tho) we also plan to do some cooking. We usually make our own breakfast and lunch, then we can splurge on dinner somewhere the locals have recommended. Most hotels have the coffee maker to boil water (tea, oatmeal, etc…) and a mini-fridge for sandwich fixings for our bag lunch.

That beach is beautiful! Very different from the usual touristy beaches I’ve seen – those seem to look the same wherever you go. The one in your picture seems to have quite a bit of local color!
