Spanish horses are so awesome! I just love them. You were so lucky to see them walking around the streets just waiting for you to photograph them. By the way…remember that snowstorm you were talking about? We got it!

Look at those horses! They look so regal and proud! I always wanted to try horseback riding and my father told me he could enroll me on a summer school for that. One thing is I am just afraid I might fall and end up paralysed.

Horses are one of my favorite animals. I have one room in my home that is filled with horses made out of many different substances, plus large horse pictures covers that wall. I finally had to build a much larger set of shelfs just to hold some of them and many are so large they sit on the floor. I also have 20 large Budweiser Mug showing the clysdales n them, plus many smaller cups with horses on them. I have Horse lamps, horse clocks,, oh, I could go on and on my horse collection is so large. Some, like the larger 8 hitch team pulling the large Budweiser beer wagon planter were expensive when bought years ago, while other small horse statues were lots cheaper.
I just love horses and anything to do with them.
I miss the old days when I used to enjoy riding them..

Yes. No helmets, that’s asking for trouble, especially in the street with a skittish horse. Beautiful photos.

I do agree its not always easy, but taking photos on the fly (or should I say; on the road) will sometimes gives fancy results. Yours certainly did!

Helmet for the Horses? They have not read you post properly.
Only the first lines, and misunderstood, in their search for comments to their own blogs.

I agree with you, the Andalucian Horses are beautiful and signify proud, strenght and trust.

I meet horse riders without helmet here too. When they are riding through the woods or town there are often without helmet. I think it is not yet a law here, like for motorbikes. The horse in your pictures is a real beauty !

Captain, I have a question – Why shouldn’t horses wear helmets on the streets?

I mean, their lives are just as valuable, and if there’s an accident or collision with a car or something, they’re the ones who’re up front.
