Today we’re going to a real Brittish castle in Yorkshire, England and I’m all excited about to see it – and to get the chance to drink some Brittish Ale instead of Swedish!!! YUMMY!!!
The beer you see on the photo is an old Swedish brand, Åbro, which is from around 1856 and Swedens oldest family own brewery. Their Åbro Original got a gold medal in Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival in 2006.
Caledonia is going to take us to the Howard Castle as soon as she comes home from work.
Take that Brittish supporter hat on everybody! *giggles*

I will smuggle a cooler and a bottle of Dom for those of us who don’t like beer!!!
Oh, I see a blinky, what fun!
I don’t drink beer. Re wine would be good. Shall I bring some famous Singaporean BBQ pork slices? It goes well with beer.
Skol – Looks so tempting

Okay, folks, pass the cold beer – the sun is shining in Scotland today! I don’t like beer but work was traumatic with bomb threat drills and other crap so I need something to soothe my nerves!
hot cold beer!
i just really do not like beer!
Wow, that’s OLD beer! *snicker, giggle* Great WW! Mine has no beer, but I think it’s worth your trip to Canada to have a look.
Arf, bark! I’ve never had beer, but Mom doesn’t like tha stuff. I’d try it though.
Come see my pick for Woofless Wednesday. Bark!
On the few days of sunshine in the UK, you can see flocks of people escaping the office at lunch, enjoying a pint outside the pubs, spilling out onto the streets.
So really, sunshine just destroys our productivity. But it’s so good for the soul!
Excellent idea Mar, a cooler is just what we need – and the Dom is of course with us as usual! *giggles*
YUMMY! I just LOVE suggestions like that!!!
Tiens – tiens tiens or what that means in English – Still in the Cellar?
– We are sooo curious – the secret Island. We – Anna and me – and 4 cats sat here on the platform – on the roofs – watching out towards our local Islands – and we all 6 excpected our Captain and her lifeguard to land on one of them.
– butt of course – a meal in between – at the platform – fish and veggies from the garden
– in the background – inside – our TV reported:
Norway 2 – Argentina 1
Football (soccer)
I know we no longer can say from where we come on our Silver Honeymoon. Grrrr.
btw. Had a meeting with RennyBA in our Computer Society this afternoon
Hope you are well – the two of you.
It terrifies me that, despite a unique and excellent tradition of brewing that goes back several hundred years, the most popular beer in the UK is American made Budweiser.
That’s funny – it doesn’t look hot! j/k
