Calling Cruiser’s to the London port!
…Or maybe I should call it the Thames port? You do have your raincoats with you I hope…? *giggles*
We’ll stay here at this small hotel in a quiet part of London:
The Georgian and Bower House Hotel at St Georges Drive. Very nice and quiet and yet rather close to the Buckingham Palace, in walking distance. I love those old buildings in London.
Though they have very steep stairs inside so you have to carry your luggage right up in the air…. Luckily that’s Mr Lifecruiser’s duty here in life…. *giggles*
Let’s take a genuine English horse equipage to the Buckingham Palace!
Wave to the Royal English family now cruisers:
What???!!! They didn’t let us in!
…and look how tiny those guardians looks!
Wanna go for a ride in the Hyde Park?
Wait! I just adore those traffic signals!
You MUST see the Tower Bridge! In rain – and fog! *giggles*
..and The Tower of London:
If you don’t behave I might throw you in there! *giggles*
We tried to get in to the Parliament too, butt they stopped us, probably they’ve heard too much rumors of all the partying the cruisers have been doing!!! *giggles*
And where is that big….. eh… symbol of… eh… London, Big Ben???
Just to give you a feeling of HOW big it really is:
Ooops… I got a new hairstyle! Now I don’t have to feel like I’m going bald any more! Hm… butt that sign… I find it quite amusing if you interpret it my own way…. No slacked things for me thanks! *giggles*
Care for taking a sightseeing tour on the Thames river? In an amphibian car?
..and you can’t have been in London an not going with the underground!
Now, what’s the main reason for people going to London? Could it be shopping…?
Any one wanna shop for something fun? *giggles*
…though I did actually hardly shop any thing at all!!! *shock*
Or might it be the beers at the pub’s?
This is NOT me, not even in the mornings! *giggles*
Going up in the London Eye, so you can see properly where you have been:
The London Eye is the world’s tallest observation wheel: 135 meter !!!
I found the must have funky hat for Melli:
..and some funky boots and shoes for Sanni:
Of course, I couldn’t go to England without going home with Jack Russell, could I? After all, he is brother to Kurt Russell… *giggles*
No, I didn’t manage to take any photos at all of the food we ate, as usual I just did throw myself at it as a wild beast as the hungry monster I am – and *poff* it were gone….
…and what about London by night? Well, I can assure you that there definitely is one Tough, it must have go through the censorship….*giggles*
Where did you ended up mostly? Come one, dare to tell me the truth now! *giggles*

See you in Paris tomorrow…
Well, since this is my first time on a cruise (of any sort) I don’t really know what to do, so I’ve been waiting for someone else to join — am I all alone?
All the more for me then!
I live so close to London but only ever go for work reasons, though I’ve been to most places when my sons were younger. I even once took the boys on a river boat up to the Thames Barrier – and we were the only passengers. A big boat and no-one else at all….
Are you spotting a pattern here?
PS I live close to London when I’m in the UK, but when I’m in France …. I don’t.
Ohh, how wonderful, I have never been to London. Well, until this afternoon . While I am actually waiting for some rain for my plants! send the British rain over here
Love your pictures, you did a wonderful job.
Need some tea and scones right now !
You rock, Captain!
(can’t wait to see the Stones’ concert!)
Uh… Oh… love the funky boots!
Have I mentioned there´s a quite good chance I´ll move to London for at least a few months? I love London, but I didn´t like the idea of moving there soooo much… until I saw your pictures
Thank you!
Ship ahoy! and *puss*
I can’t wait to read more on your trip!!!
We just got back from camping, and I took pictures; kept the camera in a plastic bag. We went to Sam’s Knob ~ Shining Rock Wilderness ~ in Western North Carolina. I haven’t had a chance to do a report yet or go through the pictures. Hopefully I can get a report done by Wednesday. hehe
I’ll be back tonight to read all the details of London can’t wait.
What??? The Queen of the Cruises didn’t go to Harrods? I’m shocked speechless!
Hello!

Hé! Hé! I was never to london! But today I am! It will a future destination! I adore the red phone cabins and big Ben and all! Just one think, like many french people : english food! Because I don’t use to melt sugar and salt! We begin just a few time ago melting fig marmelade and pâté de foie gras. But I ‘m always open to new discoverings!
There is a little tea shop in Ollioules where i like to drink a marvelous tea and typical english cakes. When I am here I dream I’m in London!

Oh, yes, I did go to Harrods! Butt I came only out with… you’re not going to believe this…. *giggles*
A couple of kettle holders!!!! Butt they were awfully stylish…. *giggles*
Thanks for the linking Claudie – you get extra stars in Captains log for that you too
Sounds marvelous Claudie! I can tell you that the tea and scones or cakes is that good in Scotland too! OH, how I love their tea!
Normally I drink coffee at home, butt when in UK I just have to drink tea because they are so darn good at it! Bloody marvelous as a genuine english man would have said
Good! Thank you for your most kind word…. You make me blush now… *giggles*
What an exeptional presentation of London – chemical free of Football fans and old Musicals – But the Queen should have understood what she lost by not letting your in. But the Parliament – they speak to loudly there – so that was a place to left for it self.
I’m afraid I’ll be put in the Tower if I try do comment more than this.
Hats and booths – *giggles* great
I’ve been in London a lot of time and thought I knew this place. Seeing it through your eyes was a great, exciting and new thrilling experience though – thanks for taking us with – it was a wonderful, well documented round trip!
Btw: I would love to go pub crawling with you and the rest of the A-Team Cruisers of course! Skåååååål
HELLLLLLLLP! HEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPP! Captain! Ohhhhhhh Captain! HEEEEEELP! Come BACK! I’m STUCK at Buckingham Palace! I managed to wiggle in through a hole in the fence while they were busy keeping YOU out…. but now they won’t let me out! They’re looking scary and I’m in need of the loo! HELP! Oh! And DO bring that hat! I LOVE IT!!!!
ALARM! ALARM! All men (and women!) on deck!
Melli needs us! She can’t stay stucked there while we’re out pub crawling! NO NO!
Some one – distract the guards with something so we can get her out!
…OR someone – hand her a potty through the gate! *giggles*
I’m sure of that… Oh, imagine the Power of the Tower…. *giggles*
OH, that’s bloody swell of you lad! We’ll have a hell of a round there!!! *giggles*
Cheers all my dear cruisers
I like the horse-crossing signals.
What did you eat in England?
Splendid sights! Wish I could go there someday!
I come to help Melli but i have a problem here too in london since yesterday when I was comment your photos on flickr and play suddenly the gards asked to me if I was a human person or a robot! Because they said I posted many comments! Now I’m always in London perhaps in the future why not in 2050 and I can’t say you if i’m human or robot!!! Do you think I drunk to much beer at St George Tavern??? *giggles*
Well, as I remember it was mostly fish (or hamburger) and chips, steaks or the most delicious soups – please don’t ask me to pin down it more…. My memory is very bad…. *giggles*
I hope you will! It’s always sooo nice and refreshing to travel to some new place and get new impressions
Too much beer…? Can’t be possible – not for a cruiser! *giggles*
Those English guards! They should behave or I’ll throw THEM in the Towern! Let the head rolls! *giggles*
Mistaken you for a robot? Not a chance, the most loveliest cruiser! BAH!
Proud to name you
Creative Blogger – oh, Captain Creative Lifecruiser!
*kram*
It’s just as if you described my hometown ! I have been so many times in London when my son lived there that it has become the town I know the best ! qnd guess were we go tomorrow ? To London ! But not to the touritic stuff but to my friends daughter and also shopping.
I enjoy my holidays very much, there are a lot of seagulls, the sea is blue and the little english coast towns just lovely. I still find time to fight with the english keyboard !
Oh my, now I am jealous since I always wanted to travel to London. Hopefully I can do that later to visit a friend there.
