1. I laughed when my best teenage friend were slipping outside in the winter - and she was already handicapped by a wounded foot and were using crutches… She was so afraid of falling so she were holding back so strong that she fell in slow motion right on her butt with her feet in the air and it just looked so dreadful.
2. I was laughing hysterical sometimes during lessons in school when it was NOTHING to laugh about and I was the only one laughing. The others just looked at me as I were totally crazy (which I am) and waited until I stopped.
3. I laughed hysterical once when my best friend and I went to a guided tour in the small castle from 17th century in my growing up neighborhood and there was this absolutely insane pianist hammering totally crazy on the piano. My best youth friend has the most infectious laugh, so it was impossible to stop when listening to her laughs. The other grown ups didn’t appreciate our laughs, so at last they throwed us out…
4. I laughed when my best friend (the same one as above) where thrown off a pony once, not because she was thrown off, but because of the fact that she was still in the saddle but the saddle was on the ground!!! She hadn’t made sure that it was fastened alright before riding out. Oh, boy the look of her face sitting there *laughing right now*
5. I laughed (instead of crying) once when playing badminton with the wrong shoes on my feet - on slippery wet grass - and I slipped and went on my butt several meter, but not only that, I was hitting myself with the racket in the head at the same time and real hard! I’m just glad that no one caught that on video…
6. I laughed together with my sisters when we were at the funeral agency discussing my fathers burial. The woman serving us was weird, wearing those big orange glasses and talking very strange. Then she very dramatically unveiled the small miniature coffins behind the curtains and we were so surprised that we started to laugh despite the sad reason for being there. It was her behaviour that did it, she was so unbelievable weird.
7. I just couldn’t stop laughing when I ordered a Pripps BlÃ¥ (beer) by mistake instead of Vicks BlÃ¥ (mint tablets) in the store early a monday morning when I was very very tired. No one else in the line thought it was funny, neither did the cashier and that just made it even more fun of course!
8. I kind of laughed with big hold back when I was newly operated for appendicitis and wanted to show Mr Lifecruiser the very sexy underwear they had put on me. I just lifted the dress a bit to show them when I remembered that I couldn’t laugh, but it was too late and how do you laugh but not move your belly at all? Ouch. That was the most silliest laugh I ever have had in my whole life! Almost made me laugh at my own laugh.
9. I couldn’t help laughing when I was visiting my Mom at the hospital once and there was this old lady sitting in a sofa next to another old lady when she suddenly needed to go to the bathroom and just when she passed the other ladys face with her butt she farted heavily and it was a extremely long serenade too… The longest I ever heard in my whole life. Even my mother started laughing. We pretended that we said something funny, but I suspect the lady knew anyway.
10. I laugh hysterically loud at absolutely nothing together with Mr Lifecruiser, preferably in the middle of the nights when we should be sleeping and we’re disturbing the neighbours with our loud practically screaming laughs. Any one heard of complaints of neighbors laughing…?
11. I had severe problems not laughing during our marriage ceremony, nearly made it until I couldn’t put the ring on Mr Lifecruisers finger. Then I had a total laugh break down and bearly could beg for help. Pheew.
12. Every time I know I can’t laugh, I laugh my head off… I’m hopeless.
13. ♥ I LAUGH, ENJOY… LOVE… TO LAUGH!

I do that too - laugh at inappropriate times but hey - I am Cheeky that way LOL
Lifecruiser: Welcome in the club
Ha — I do the same thing. Just last night while I was trying to fall asleep I got a case of the giggles, for no reason!
My Thursday Thirteen is up!
Happy Thursday!
Lifecruiser: Welcome in the club you too, maybe we’ll be a very big club…. *lol*
Yes……it’s good to have a good laugh once in a while. As they say… laughter is a good medicine and a good therapy.
My TT13 is up too.
Lifecruiser: Yes, but it can be a bit crazy sometimes… *lol*
laughter is like an aerobic exercise for your soul.
Lifecruiser: You’re so right there Carmen! What would life be without laughter…?
Laughter is good for the soul and good for the heart! You have had some pretty funny times for laughing! Great list!
MY T13 is up. Happy Thursday!
Lifecruiser: Yes, I certainly have and I hope more will come
I’m sorry, but #6 is funny! I hate death and funerals…I always laugh when I should be quiet.
Lifecruiser: Yes, isn’t that funny that we always have to laugh when we absolutely NOT should? *lol*
i truly believe it is good to laugh even when it might not seem right. laughter keeps us young.
my tt is up.
Lifecruiser: I can only agree on that
I love your list! I was sitting here laughing out loud reading it!! You seem like a really fun person!
Lifecruiser: …or crazy person
I laugh at the most inappropriate times, but you know what, I’d rather laugh at things than be a sad sack all the time! I have a loud, hearty laugh, so when I laugh you know it! I say laugh and the world laughs with you!!
Great list, Happy Thursday!
Lifecruiser: Probably we would never stop laughing then, because I tend to laugh at other peoples laugh… *lol*
Hehe… I try not to laugh out loud at imappropriate times, but I do giggle alot. Sounds like you have had lots of good laughs! One cannot be serious all the time.
My TT is up!
Lifecruiser: At least I can’t. Be serious all the time. Ah, it’s a good thing to laugh, but sometimes a little bit emberrassing too.
LOL! Laughing is great, thanks for sharing your memories with us! Happy TT!
Lifecruiser: Yes, it’s one of lifes best free things You all know what other things is free and best in life…
I do the same thing, or sometimes just start grinning at really inappropriate times. I think it’s a nervous reflex. One time my best friend and I started laughing in the middle of a “hot” yoga class as we were both trying to maintain downward dogs. Everyone was so serious and the room was silent except for our explosions of escaped giggles.
Lifecruiser: Welcome in the laugh club… *lol*
thanks, I’m laughing now and believe me, I needed it!
Lifecruiser: GOOOOOD. That was the purpose. Glad you enjoyed it
We should start a club cause I am hopeless too. I laugh hysterically when I get nervous or upset and people think I am making fun. It drives me crazy because I didn’t use to do this until about 10 years ago. Everyone will be sad or something and I will be laughing my head off because I cannot seem to control it. Its very embarassing at times.
Lifecruiser: Yes, I can hear that you know exactly what it’s all about
Laugh long, laugh loud, laugh often! I love when I’m crying and a friend tries to cheer me up, and we both start laughing! Great TT! I love your memory of trying to contain your self at your wedding, and cracking up at the end when you were placing your husband’s ring on….Too funny!
Thanks for visiting my TT!
Have a great Thursday!
Lifecruiser: Thanks you Christine. Glad you enjoyed it. Actually I think that even the priest did, we finally made him smile wich had been very difficult. He were not the open type.
I think we have all laughed at the wrong moments.. I know I have. And I know that if it would happen again.. I would still choose to laugh..
Lifecruiser: If I had the choice I would probably laugh in most situations, but not all. I’d have liked to be able to look into my husbands eyes more than some seconds during the wedding ceremony to see all the love float between us, but that was not possible… *lol*
You make me laugh!
Happy TT
Lifecruiser: Goood
The worst part about laughing at the wrong time, is that it is sooo hard to stop.
Lifecruiser: Yes, it sure is!!!!
I laugh, a lot. Sometimes for no reason at all - it seems when I get started it’s so hard to stop. That’s OK tho, I love it. Ha!
Lifecruiser: Well, let’s say that the laughs make us live longer - oh, boy how long shall we live…?!!! *lol*
I am laughing with you on a few of these.
If we couldn’t laugh, this would be a very sad world. I’ve been caught with someone else, laughing hysterical, and not knowing the reason. People do look at you a little crazy, but who cares!
Lifecruiser: Even if I did care (which I don’t - I’m crazy I couldn’t do anything about it. The laugh just burst out without any possibility to stop it… *lol*
Ever see the Mary Tyler Moore Show episode where Chuckles the Clown dies. An elephant “shelled” him when he was dressed as Mr. Peanut. Everyone in the office laughed all week and Mary was furious. At the funeral she kept laughing hysterically. It won an Emmy. Thanks for sharing. Frances
Lifecruiser: That’s a precious episode
The lady with the big orange glasses sounds very funny. My little Soma loves watching America’s Funniest Home videos when people fall; he cracks up so loud! I remember me and an old friend laughing hysterically at another friend because of his facial expressions over the campfire. He looked paranoid like something was coming out of the woods. Couldn’t stop laughing… to this day the memory is so funny! Thanks for making me laugh lol!!!
Lifecruiser: Yes, it’s sooo good to bring forward old laughing memories and laugh at them once again
lol Mrs Lifecruiser, you sound like me! I can’t help laughing when no-one else is.. they think I’m nuts :=)
Mandy
Lifecruiser: Think? What! I’ve always assumed that you were as crazy as I am
they say laughing is the best medicine but sometimes it seems it is more appropiate to simply get sick…enjoyed reading your list, though
Happy TT
Lifecruiser: Well, sometimes not even laughing helps… But it sure is more fun to laugh
There is nothing better than ROFLMAO with my best friend. I am so glad you laugh all the time….
Lifecruiser: Yes, kind of make the life so worth living, doesn’t it?
Good post!
laughing is good….
My TT is up
Lifecruiser: It sure is! Laugh on… :-))))
#4… too funny! I can actually imagine the saddle slipping off the horse.
It’s good to laugh, I enjoyed your TT! Thanks for stopping by!
Lifecruiser: I still laughs at that one myself :-))))))
I love to laugh, too! It seems like we both enjoy laughing at slightly inappropriate moments, too. Sometimes, it just cuts the tension. Keep on laughing, Mrs. L, and life will be so much easier to take! Smiles!
Lifecruiser: Yes, I think I’ll follow your very wise advice there *lol*
Yes, laughter is a wonderful thing. Just when everyone thinks its time to be seious or some one is trying to be upset around me…here comes the smile and I just can’t help but to cut loose with laughter
Nice TT
Wolfbernz
Lifecruiser: Love to hear that wolfbernz
You must be a fun lady to hang out with! All that laughing.
Thanks for visiting my TT.
Lifecruiser: Either that or I’m hanging out with very fun people
I adore #8! I’ve had laughing spells in the past that almost unglued me. For some reason they tend to happen in restaurants when the waitress is trying to get orders. I try so hard to get serious but can’t. I once laughed so much in a fun house that it started to be mixed with anxiety because I couldn’t control myself! Have you ever read Norman Cousins book, Anataomy of an Illness? It’s about curing himself form a deadly disease with humor. He found that a good belly laugh kept him free from pain for a couple of hours!
Lifecruiser: Sounds hilarious, it hasn’t happen with waiters yet with me, but I suspect it will now when you told me that! Yes, I’ve heard of that book, maybe I have to read it now
I really enjoyed your list-I can ALWAYS find a reason to laugh! Jenny, a TT newbie
Lifecruiser: Well, welcome to the T13 Jenny and keep on laughing
Welcome back me old shipmates!
Hope you had a super dooper time!
Love this laughter theme! SO SO FUNNY, you have made me laugh with your stories!
My mouth is always full of blood at funerals etc because I have to bite my mouth to stop myself from laughing. If my sister and me are together then it is just terrible, at one funeral when we were young we sat at the back and thought we were safe from people seeing us squirm and giggle in our seats with faces as red as tomatoes as we tried to stop ourselves from laughing, it wasn’t until we left that we realised that there was a viewing gallery behind and above us with other family members looking sternly down on us.
My cousins husband who looked a bit like a hippy was sitting in front of us and had sat on his glasses and broken one of the lenses, he was offering sweets around but because his vision was no impaired he was virtually pushing the sweet packet in to peoples faces, this made my sister and me giggle like mad.
At my wedding I knew I would laugh, I managed to control myself until a big turnip fell off the window ledge during our wedding vows and hit my uncle on the head, it was harvest festival and the church was full of food, on our wedding video you can hear the thump and laughter. This made me laugh.
The last time I had such a good tummy hurting laugh with my sister was a few years ago when we were in out late thirties, it was my dads 70th birthday and they were having a house party.
In the front lounge sat about ten old people who didn’t look so happy, to cheer them up my sister and me decided to do a music display for them. I carried a little bell and my sister had a cardboard tube from an old toilet roll which she blew like a trumpet.
We marched into the room in line like a couple of little soldiers swinging our legs and arms ringing the bell and blowing the trumpet making a hell of a noise. As we marched around the room in front of all the old people I noticed that not one of them was smiling but it was too late and my sister an me were committed so we carried on marching around the room getting faster and faster, louder and louder as all the old faces looked on in horror.
When we left the room we laughed so much that it hurt, we had never met any of these people and I felt sorry for my Mum and Dad because these old people must have thought how childish we were, I still laugh now as I think about it now.
Sorry that this is just a quick comment folks (hee hee)
Glad you are back.
Bye bye
Lifecruiser: I almost wish I were there to see it, I mean laugh at it too!!!! Sounds like something I’d like to do too. Life is fun, we should enjoy it more, like that
ah laughter! You’re made me laugh reading it and I am laughing while writing this thinking of funny things! It seems that alot of mishaps make you laugh. You probably love America’s Funniest Videos when they fall off their bikes and into trees and off docks etc. (like I do). Mel Brooks as the 1000 year old man has a good comparison between comedy and tragedy about that. I wish I could remember it! LOL. I love it when I get into a good fit of laughing but sometimes you laugh so much it hurts your stomach. LMAO sb LMSO! Also when I laugh really heartily I tend to snort which can be embarrassing but makes me laugh and snort even more. So here’s something that we laughed at that just came to mind. We were at the cottage and Dad had just come down from the outhouse and gone straight down to the dock and was preparing to dive in for a swim when we all noticed some toilet paper hanging out his swim trunks and down his butt. We all laughed hysterically and so did he. We were kids at the time!
Lifecruiser:ah, that’s a classic one, the one with the toilet paper, how fun isn’t that *lol*. That’s the kind of things that makes life more worth living.
Your T-13 made me laugh this morning so I enjoyed it very much & laughter feels good! *s* Havea great weekend!
Lifecruiser: Oh, I’m glad you enjoyed it, I love to spread laughter Hope your weekend is great too!!!
Laughter is so incredibly healthy for your wellbeing and health. Last summer in Scotland with a friend, we had the biggest laught just over the name on a book. For some reason, it tickled us and we laughted until we cried for hours. Madness but wonderful
