Sometimes when shooting travel photos I don’t aim for the whole picture. I like details in a cut view and I do like to get a kinda colorless photo with some colorful details only. Like this red details in this very gray port scene in the Baltic Sea.
We need to see some colorless views sometimes, to really appreciate colors again.
Agree. we understand colours when seeing the contrast to the colourless.

Yes, it’s so true! I remember seeing a boat, I think it was blue, on a very dull November day. Such a welcome splash of colour and yet other times I’d hardly notice it.
