We’re occupied planning a new trip… Or maybe two….
It all started a couple of days ago when we realized that it’s time to plan the trip Jane got as a Christmas from us. We said that it should take place some time this spring, when the weather had approved a bit.
Which means that it’s high time to book NOW. It’s to a secret destination – in fact right now, it’s so secret that we don’t even know ourselves!
Though we booked flight tickets this Thursday to a destination the 16-21 April, searched for hotels which took many hours. We’re picky, we want the best to the lowest price and you don’t get that served on a silver plate exactly.
….and then afterward we suddenly hesitated, changing our minds about the destination – so now we’ll probably end up with two trips! *giggles*
Maybe our wallets will survive, we only live once. We’ll have to live very sparsely at home though.
I’ll come back with more info later, wish us luck!

You are really a globetrotter family and I learn a lot from your travel planning – thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience!
And of course: Good Luck
The suspence is killing me, so let us know where you are going as soon as you can. And enjoy yourself, planning is half the fun!
If it’s a secret destinations in April,
then it can be only abroad –
And even not in Scandinavia..
We suspect you have some secrets, we would like to be informered about.
But, we will meet on August 4 in Marignan.
Say no more then:
Big Hugs
a new secret destination? I think I will call you mrs Globetrotter, now!
Secret destination? That sounds exciting. They should keep it a secret until you actually reach there. You know, blindfold you so you don’t know what plane you’re getting on.
I love secret trips! If there is a way to get luxury on a silver platter, you are up to the challenge! The snow has not been kind to us this winter, so there will be no vacation for us
It’s snowing on your blog Captain! I can’t wait to hear about your new trips and adventures and see the pics. We’re hoping to go on a camping trip by the Appalachian Trail during the kids’ spring break. I can’t wait to get out into nature! ((()))
So are you going to tell us just before you go, while you are gone or when you come back Maybe a little hint – or some phtotos….pleeeeze
