Cycling is without a doubt the best way to explore a city. You can see things from behind the window of a bus but you can’t feel and hear the vibrancy of the city. With a bike you are in touch with the city; you get the feel of it. People can live for years in a city without ever really knowing it because they are cocooned from it in their cars every day.

I love small sculptures in cities and towns. I think it gives a cultural feel to the place and shows a civic pride. Maybe that is a post one day for me – some favourite sculptures around towns. This one has a wonderful realism to it (though the idea of cycling in deep snow is not an Australians idea of a good time!!).

cycling is a great way to experience a city. many might find a big city like London daunting to cycle around but it’s actually very safe (although I had once a bike accident eh eh) and it gets you easily everywhere. Amsterdam is another great city to cycle around and I would love to see every town with a sightseeing bicycle’s route

The sculptures are so realist! Sounds the workers are alive in this beautiful place with snow. I know in the future I will meet them in Stockolm!
