What can we we say:
we are really grateful and humbled and even “blessed” -if one can use that expression btw us, by this wonderful post and the others as well from our last face to face meeting. Let it not be the last;))
The view from around our Summerhouse, well you have seen it, and according to the comments allready giving: It’s special.
Gives us harmony. relaxe for our two nice cats and ourselfs, and for the most of our our guests as well.

(PS. It’s something to be fixed – you know LOL – but that will be in proper shape next season).

Some facts: Wikipedia is not correct when defining a fjord. It’s allmost correct, but the main point is: It had to be carved out by the ice during the last ice age – but that does not mean it also have to be high mountains around. Here in Southern Norway the Mountains were crushed into Sand. The result is Denmark and Northern Germany, maybe also Holland. That’s why the Oslofjord and other fjords in Southern Norway do not have steep and high Mountains like on the Norwegian Western Coast.
The Main Stream of Ice in regular went Southwards, with heavy pressure, while some sidestreams went West and created the World Famous Fjords in SW Norway.
