Maybe you've got something there *lol* I take it lighthearted and see it as fun music entertainment and have no problem to watch, even if I do some swearing in misbelief sometimes over how certain songs can end up so well placed.... It's an old competition tradition and it's all about a certain genre of songs, which may not be the most advanced musically, but that's it. To be honest I hate Eurovision. It's getting worse and worse in my opinion.
