Thursday Thirteen Love

Mr and Mrs Lifecruisers heartline

L O V E L I F E C R U I S E R

All Mr & Mrs Lifecruiser need is Love.

From the day we meet (Dec 2003), we haven’t been away from each other more than necessary - when something forces us to, like a day on the golf course or an appendix surgery or something really important like that ;-). None of us is holding back the other, we just don’t feel whole when we are apart.

We can’t stop showing our Love all the time. As a fact, I think that maybe some people can find it a little too much from time to time. But hey, what can we do, it just comes naturally for us without even thinking about it. And besides that, how do you hold back Love? Should we even think about it? NO.

We have the ultimate Love between us, the one that just fill your whole heart with love bubbles that comes popping up all the time and you just can’t stop them. When the Love bubble bursts you go crazy and attack the other with kisses…

Mr Lifecruiser did the most romantic proposal to me… It was spring (May 2004), in Paris… We were doing some wonderful seightseeing. I noticed that he wasn’t quite himself that day, but I had no idea why. He was thinking of doing the proposal on the top of Eiffeltower, but it was too crowded up there, so he started to get nervous not to find the right place. When we sat down at a park bench beneath Sacre Couer, suddenly the sun began to shine upon us and all the little birds came flying and sat down in the tree above us and started to sing beutifully. That was the magic signal. He went down his knees, looked me deep in my eyes with his eyes full of a vibrating Love, with such carisma that I felt like I was a magnet that was drawn towards him. The red rose, now in my hand, was totally forgotten. There was no other people in our world, despite the fact of all the hundreds of tourists and frenchmen that were on their way to/from Sacre Couer. The air was full of Love. His speach was so beutiful and breathtaking, but I don’t remember a word of it, just his eyes, his mouth saying all these wonderful words, the vibrations of our true Love - and that I answered YES…. And all the kissing that never stopped…

Our Love is the touching type. Even physical touching. We can’t stop to touch each other. There is that heartfire feeling and warm glow around our hands when we meet each others skin. You can really feel the Love in your skin, in addition to the heart. Even on distance. Mae West once said: “If you give a man free hands, he is placing them all over you”. And that’s one of the reasons why I Love Mr Lifecruiser so much:-)

Probably hundred times a day we say the magic words and still don’t get bored of hearing them. It’s the tone of the voice that you can’t be without. It’s like honey for the soul. It comes naturally from the bottom of our hearts.

We are like one person. We never have any problems with each other. Maybe it’s because of the fact that we love us ;-). We instinctly know what the other is thinking and want or need. Nothing is ever too difficult to do for the other, because we Love us and want us to be as happy as possible. Daily we say exactly the same thing at the same time and not only Love words, but words we rarely use, it’s almost scary sometimes.

Our Love is the kind of Love where you can be 100% yourself, even sick and dirty with a very bad hairday on top of that and it doesn’t matter the slightest. As a matter of fact that’s how almost every morning in this house is ;-)

We have freedom in our Love. We don’t force the other one to be or do anything, we do it by our free will. If none of us want to clean the house, fine, none of us do it. No one blaims the other one for anything. We do the cleaning when we feel like it and it’s some kind of random as it happens. What does cleaning really matter compare to Love? If one of us want to do something it’s totally up to us. I’ts OK to do things the other one don’t want or can do, like golfing for example. I must admit that Mr L is not golfing as much as he used to any longer, but that’s not my fault. I’ve tried to kicked him out sometimes, but what to do when he doesn’t want to go?

We make Love and not war, because we’re a team that’s going to make this marriage work. We can’t begin to put up different sides of things we don’t think exactly the same about. We’re not in a competition. We’re not even man or woman - we’re one love couple. That means that we accept the other as we are, tries to understand, communicating with each other to get along with our common goal to keep this fire burning wild.

Life began after we fall in Love with us. The rest of the life began at our wedding day (Aug 2004), the most wonderful wedding we ever could have had. Even many of our guest says that it’s the most wonderful wedding they’ve been to ever and that’s a huge compliment for us. We really wanted it to be a happy wedding for all involved and had fun when we planned it all by ourselves. It was a kind of surprise wedding, since we had decided to (secretly) wear 18th century clothes among other things.

We are best friends, husband & wife- and lovers for eternity. We know that for sure, because we’re going to keep it that way no matter what happens. We both have other very long relationships (20-27 years!) behind us. We know what it takes - and gives. It’s a matter of Love, passion, attitude, maintenance, compromising, communication, compassion. We promised each other from the beginning that we would have 44 years together and then, when we’re 88 and 95 years old, we’ll sit down at the negotiation table and evaluate our passed years - and then sign up for 44 more happy alive years!

LIVE, ENJOY… LOVE… EACH OTHER!

Napoleons Love Letter

Posted by Lifecruiser in Love, Swedish

Paris, december 1795

“I awake all filled with you. Your image and the intoxicating pleasures of last night, allow my senses no rest.
Sweet and matchless Josephine, how strangely you work upon my heart.
Are you angry with me? Are you unhappy? Are you upset?
My soul is broken with grief and my love for you forbids repose. But how can I rest any more, when I yield to the feeling that masters my inmost self, when I quaff from your lips and from your heart a scorching flame?
Yes! One night has taught me how far your portrait falls short of yourself!
You start at midday: in three hours I shall see you again.
Till then, a thousand kisses, mio dolce amor! but give me none back for they set my blood on fire”.

This was a love letter that Napoleon Bonaparte sent to his mistress Josephine before their wedding. This was just one of maybe thousands he wrote.

I personally doubt that he actually felt real love, because he always continued to take on mistresses. He also divorced Josephine because she didn’t give him any children - I don’t believe you do that if you really love some one, not even at this time. I mean, if it only were a matter of children, he could have kept her as a mistress.

The love letters was not quite the reason for his fame, but maybe it should have been? There is an art to write love letters too, more than being a brilliant military leader, won’t you say? I sure would have preferred being famous for love than for war. The old saying “make love not war” still has meaning.

I guess I’m saying: start to write more love letters!!!

The connection between Sweden and Napoleon is that Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte from France, brother-in-law with Napoleons brother, reigned as King Karl Johan XIV of Sweden 1818. The House of Bernadotte is the current Royal House of the Kingdom of Sweden.

France has always been considered as the country of romance, maybe this connection can explain why we Swedes are considered to be so open about love and sex…?

Ah, that must be the reason why I like french kissing so much ;-)

The need of big boobs

Posted by Lifecruiser in Love

Being a blogger you want to find interesting subjects that other bloggers find interesting. I have found in my not very scientific research that there seem to be a big interest in silicon boobs and erection pills. Why, I have no idea ;-).
I think it has something to do with our nature and maybe some wish to be best in everything…

I have to investigate it further though, because I’m not sure if you need both of them for the same couple at the same time. I mean, if the woman have big boobs, maybe the man’s erection problems won’t appear - and the opposite, if the man have no problem with erection maybe he don’t need the big boobs, it’s just sufficient with a woman?

Ooops, I can see that questioning give me enough of opinions to drown in… *lol*

Personally I think it’s unnecessary to enlarge your breasts, because it’s mostly a try to increase your self-confidence, which can be done in other ways without taking all the serious risks involved with a surgery. There is some cases where there really is reasons for doing it, but far too many is doing it that don’t have to.

Besides that, I wonder if they really have thought about the problem they will have afterwards getting clothes fitting the big boobs? And they can’t even tell you exactly how the result is going to end up, you may get boobs you don’t even asked for. Mostly I don’t think it looks good either, not well-proportioned and very often they’re like two balls - too round on the upper side. But I’m not a man so maybe I have higher demands on what’s good looking?

Don’t take me wrong here, I love boobs, but beautiful naturally looking ones. I don’t want every one to have similar looking either. I think it’s like everything else - it’s very nice with some variation. Otherwise you soon get tired of seeing the same thing. Hm… maybe it going to change in the future and every one will do breast reductions instead? Why can’t we ever be satiesfied with what we got?

The same goes for the erection pills, too many is taking them that really shouldn’t have to. There are other ways to explore first. I guess it’s too easy to just take a pill and the problem seem to be solved. I would rather start to investigate why these problems occur to try to solve the real cause of it.

This really is a hot debate subject. I’ve seen it over and over again in the internet. I don’t know though if it really leads to something, to any insight in the matter at all. I think we are like we are and it would take gazillions of years to change that. There is too many that simply don’t want to change it. Plus the fact that it’s hard to stop a rolling snowball, every one wants to be the hottest or think they will be happier then.

“Today more money is spent on breast enlargements and erection pills than research about Alzheimers. That means that year 2030 there is going to be a lot of elderly women with very large breasts and equally many old men with a strong erection, but absolutely no one will remember what to do with it”.

[From our bible: “Men’s best loo book”]

So, you see, that may be #1 reason why that is not needed in this house…

Secret whisper: #2 reason could be the fact that we already have big boobs and/or a strong erection, but no, we’re not going to show you if we have…

Sun day

Posted by Lifecruiser in Odditys, Love

Today was a magnificent day in Stockholm with really nice sunshine and temperatures like a summer day, so I think all people in the city was out catching the sun - and so did we!

All the birds were having heartbreaking love concerts every where. People looked very happy and satiesfied.

It should have been written LOVE in the sky.

Now we have to make some love ourselves, maybe it will be written LOVE in our foreheads….

Update with the answer: it’s a meat mincer.

Lifecruisers old camera

8. One of my dads old cameras that I inherited. It’s an Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/16, film format 120, photo 6 x 6 cm, lens 75mm f/4.5, manufactured 1937 to 1945. I also got an old cool manual for the amateur photographer from 1942. Very scientific. He also had one of these box cameras and he did all developing himself at home. I remembering him taking photos of us all the time, but the strange thing is that after he passed away, most of the photos were gone too. We suspect that they had been stolen, because there was no negatives either and that sure was negative for us :-(

Lifecruisers old phone

9. An old classic phone I spotted in a shop with old things. These kind of phones was common here in Sweden around the fifties and sixties. This one was never used, still in it’s box, so I just had to have it. The ringing is very loud!

Lifecruisers military hat

10. An old military hat from the swedish army that I fell in love with at a military antique shop and just must have too. The funny thing was that from the moment we went in there to the moment we went out, the man in the shop was only looking and talking with Mr Lifecruiser, despite the fact that it was ME that was most interested in the old things there and wanted to buy them. Mr Lifecruiser tried to explain that for the man several times, but he just didn’t see me *lol*.

Lifecruisers confession square

11. This is the pattern outcarved holes in our confessional in the kitchen….. The door on the closet looks exactly like a confessional, so we began to joke about it and now i’ts official. Wanna hear our confessions…? Send us an email and we’ll confess our deepest secrets to you.

A Blogging Chick

I’m a blogging chick! Yes, what about that you say.

I’ve joined The Blogging Chicks. So now I’m a “blogging chick blogging chick” I guess. To become one was easy - either you are one or not. Dead simple. Just to join the cackle.

Of course, you have to be a chick to join, that’s the main thing. I think I qualify quite well for that, despite the fact that I’m an old, crazy, hungry monster. chick. I must remember to add that last from now on.

The whole blogosphere could be full of us. Think about it, the chickosphere.

Groom your feathers and join the cackle you too, but don’t be too much of a chick, then you might get grilled and burned ;-)

I just wonder, if I’m a Chick, what’s Mr Lifecruiser then - a cock?
