These photos is from the other night, when it was almost a full moon here at Fårö. Of course photos can never do it justice, butt you get a feeling of it anyhow.
Isn’t nature just grand? Making such a beautiful art for us all the time?
This year we haven’ spotted the unbelievable beautiful sunsets that use to be over here and that’s because of the bad weather we’ve had this summer.
…and what about this sculpture outside the FÃ¥rösunds Library – no sign who is the creator of it though:
I personally love how this womans hair is blowing in the sea wind:
Another art in the nature was last night when we ended up on an outdoor birthday party at some houses away from the farm. From the beginning it was Jane (Mr L’s daughter) and her boyfriend Jocke that should go there, butt after some beer and wine at the farm, we decided to come along!
Even Mr L’s ex came with us, butt she didn’t stay as long as we did – and we didn’t stay as long as the youngsters! We left at one o’clock in the darkest part of the night, finding our way home in the darkness along the old farmer road with only farm fields at the side. Almost alone, except that there came a taxi with more guests to the party.
Of course, the fact that there was a live band in their garden, playing heavy rock music so we could hear it as it was at the farm, made us feel a bit old. Butt just a bit! We did dance to the music and enjoyed ourselves anyway.
No pictures though since I left my cell phone camera at home as a safety precaution….
Tonight we’ll meet Paco and Selena for some farewell drinks.
Tomorrow is our last day here, so, no post tomorrow probably, since we will come home in the middle of the night, taking the evening ferry from Gotland to Nynäshamn.

Ohhhhhhhhhh nooooooo… the adventure is ending??? How very sad! Well, it sure was fun — almost as much for US as for you!!! Thank you, dear Captain, for sharing the whooooole thing with us!
Really nice pieces!
At first glance I thought that you made all of the sculptures! You could of told me you did and I would never have been the wiser. Except for when I would ask for a piece to be made for my wife Tricia!
Dear, dear captain! Thaks for thes wonderful time in Farö! As Melli, I’m sad ! How can you go away from this beautiful place? I love the photo of the moon!
A bientôt!
Bis bald!
Have a good back travel!
I love the full moon photography and the sunsets.

You guys are so wonderful and creative – and so young at heart. Must be very hard to leave FÃ¥rö. We loved it, thanks to your exceptional hospitality.
Still partying you are – and still have fun. What a great life
The Full moon photo is fabulous. We in fact had Wolffish when we had full monn here in Oslo – with our dutch friends. We are now at the Summerhouse and Wim and Marjolein are still with us. Tomorrow
we sent them out for 5 days in Norway. Our recipie.
btw. When they leave – I’ll post our first meeting. And we are invited to a wedding party in end of September (Wim + Marjolein) – We, of course accepted at once – Tickets allready booked.
– When can we bring or hammocka to Bromma? Or, host you two in Oslo?
hugs
Anna and Tor
What a moon ! doesn’t seem real !
I love the moon photo. And yes – i agree: Mother Nature has given us the most beaitiful things and the things is..they are all for free. And here are some “nature quotes” of famous poeple that I really like (quotes, not poepl). i hope you like them, too:
1.Man’s heart away from nature becomes hard.
2.What humbugs we are, who pretend to live for Beauty, and never see the Dawn! Logan Pearsall Smith
3.I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright. Henry David Thoreau
4. God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees and flowers and clouds and stars. Martin Luther
5. Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars… and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy. Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers – for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are. ( I don’t know who said that but this is my favourite)
6.The poetry of the earth is never dead. John Keats
Cheers!
Nice pics!
Man kanske skall Ã¥ka ner till FÃ¥rö pÃ¥ semester…
Stunning pictures… nice to think Ingmar Bergman got to see this beautiful night show before leaving…just heard the news…
Beautiful!
I have to say that these are beautiful shots. Art work is found all over nature. I love it!
Great sceneries and sculptures!:)
Great sunset pictures!
You got a good picture of the full moon nevertheless! Much better than what my camera tried to produce tonight. It had an orange harvest kind of haze about it just like your one over here
