I love taking photos of boats, but when it comes to cruise ships it’s a very problematic mission since they very often simply are too big. Never the less, I did a try to catch the Holland America Line’s Cruise ship Rotterdam when it visited Stockholm.

The first Rotterdam set sail in 1872, beginning a Holland America tradition. This Rotterdam Ship’s Registry is in The Netherlands and were dedicated in 1997 by HRH Princess Margriet of the Netherlands.

With a ship length of 780 feet and a lot of things in the way, this was the best I could do. Almost half of the ship is missing.

Passenger capacity is 1,404 with about 600 crew members to serve them. I wish I were one of them since they now cruises the Incan Empires, Hawaii and Tahiti – gorgeous dream destinations.

HA! Half of a ship is better tjhan no ship at all. We all know that, LCT. Especially when it’s from Holland. :)
