This is a little baby geyser we saw when we were in Iceland in June 2004. It hadn’t learned how to have an outburst yet NOTE: Iceland is one of our absolutely favorite countries and we really want to go there again some day. If we ever goes to U.S. again, we’ll have to do a stop over in Iceland! |
NOTE: Every comment is equally welcome, even if you’re not participating in this Photo Hunt-thing, we ♥ LOVE all comments
I absolutely LOVE this photo. I have a love of anything geological, and then some. Clever, clever thinking in your selection, showing us the youth of a geological wonder. a geyser. Thank you for sharing – and I think Iceland is on my “places to visit” list now.
Lifecruiser: Thanks SilverWillow, glad you enjoyed it so much. Yes, if you ever get the chance to go to Iceland – just go!!!! It’s a truly magnificent country.
A baby geyser, how cute!! I thought they were always “grown-up’s”, you know: like grandparents, lol. Happy saturday, my pic is up!
Lifecruiser: I hadn’t give it a thought either, until I were there and it’s so darn cute
I’d love to see Iceland but I think the people might freak me out (although the few Icelanders I met were quite symphatetic). And the thought of the ground exploding beneath my feet doesn’t exactly fill me with pleasure either, hehe. Perhaps one day, though.
Have a great weekend too!
Lifecruiser: I think that the Icelanders may have a different kind of way to see things. But what do Iknow, I haven’t met enough of them to make that statement either. And I don’t judge them based on their artist Björk… Yes, Iceland have earthquakes every day, but they are so small that you don’t recognize them. It’s well worth the visit anyway!
That is a very interesting. I would have never had any idea about this. I still have so much to learn!
Thanks a bunch,
Connie:???::???:
Lifecruiser: Yes, isn’t it wonderful how we learn from the internet? I have got so much information that I would never have had otherwise.
A baby geyser…I love it! Great photo. Take care. Dani
Lifecruiser: Yes. All babys are cute aren’t they? *lol*
Very very clever! I love how people have done different things this week!
Lifecruiser: Me too, it’s always so interesting to do the photo hunt “round”.
What a creative take on youth. I would love to go to Iceland someday!
Lifecruiser: Thanks, you go there, it’s well worth it, I promise
Great photo for today’s theme! I flew through Iceland one time – just made a change of planes at the airport. would love to go back someday to visit the country.
Lifecruiser: I really recommend you to go there, it’s so bloody marvelous
What a DIFFERENT take on ‘youth’ — absolutely fabulous! I tried SO hard to think of something “different” I could use … I just had nothing! LOL! This was excellent! LOVE IT!
Lifecruiser: Thanks, we love that you loved it . I guess we’re lucky that way – kind of unfair hah? – that we got photos from all our travelling.
Interesting twist on the theme. A baby geyser great idea and lovely photo. I’d love to go to iceland sometime and see some of the lovely sites you’ve seen.
Thanks for sharing.
Lifecruiser: Thank you for your nice words Go there if you have the opportunity!!!!
What a nice, diverse take of youth!! I love it.
My Saturday photos are posted. Come by, and see if you can guess who they are!!
Lifecruiser: Thanks Wystful1, I think it’s a cutie I’ll pop over, be sure of that, as I usually do!
Ahhhh. You So Smart!!!
I like the spin on today’s theme. I think this will have to go down as today’s “Most Creative Interpretation” …for sure!!!
Thanks for stopping by my place.
Pam
Lifecruiser: Well, it’s easy to be smart when I have so many photos to choose from, isn’t it? *lol*
Ya know, it’s the pictures like the one you shared above that let me see the world around me!
Thanks for sharing that little baby geyser, I would have never known what one looks like as I have never seen one before!
Happy Saturday!
Lifecruiser: Yeah, I love to travel by picture too. I think that most people don’t have seen them, so that’s also one of the reasons I picked out this little cutie.
Wow, great picture. It must be fun and exciting visiting places like that.
Thank you for stopping by my PH.
Lifecruiser: Yes, it’s fun, exciting, interesting, educating… I could go on and on

Lifecruiser: It was really both fun and interesting to see it in real life too. Then all babies always are cute…
What a great photo. Such an original and creative take on this week’s theme. Excellent!
Lifecruiser: Thank you Lisa, though I think it’s moder nature that is most creative
Where is it’s parents. And do Mother geyser’s breast feed the baby geysers..
Lifecruiser: I think it was adopted, so I get away from that breast feed question, ha!
A baby geyser – interesting photo idea for today.
Mine is up.
Lifecruiser: Yes, isn’t it? *lol*
You totally crack me up….does it burp and have eruptions from both ends? Now I want to go to Iceland!
Lifecruiser: Ha ha, burps alright and heavy ones too Hm, and there were a suspicious smell too…. *LMAO*
What a little cutie! I’m sure it will learn to spit up soon!
I played this week.
Lifecruiser: Surely, it has the grown ups geysers around which she can learn from
Great pic! Nature is so fascinating to me.
Lifecruiser: Yes, nature is quite a magic miracle actually. We just take it for granted, but if you start to think about it, it really is amazing!!!!
Jsut beautiful. great interpretation! mines up.
Lifecruiser: Yes, isn’t it??!!! I’ve already popped over to your’s.
I would love to visit there. I don’t see it happening but a girl can have dreams, eh?
Lifecruiser: ABSOLUTELY. And by other peoples photos is the next best and that sure is better than nothing!!!
I didn’t know there WAS such a thing as a baby geyser.
Lifecruiser: Well, maybe that’s just not every day facts…. *lol*
That is really cool. My kids and I were just talking about iceland and found this picture to be amazing.
Lifecruiser: Lucky coincidence hah? *lol*
Awwweeee… look at the baby! Some day it’ll grow up and spew all over the place…..

Lifecruiser: Thanks
Awww, what a great idea, I wouldn’t have thought of this for a youth theme but it is excellent and unique! Thanks for visiting us .
Lifecruiser: Well, I haven’t that much cute baby pics – and they might not want me to post them here – so, I’ll have to be creative then, haven’t I? *lol*

Lifecruiser: I hope you get to go, because it’s sooo worth it
I thought about “fountain of youth” when I saw the theme. I like your thinking. I didn’t play this week, but wanted to check everyone’s photos out!
Lifecruiser: Thanks Trista, every one is equally welcome and I can understand why you wanted to check everyone out, it’s always so many very good pictures in the hunt.
I love the baby geyser. There was this song (I don’t remember the band): When I grow up, there will be a day, when everybody has to do what I say….
Do you think this baby is secretly mumbling the lyrics???
Lifecruiser : Ha ha, so cute in this case, I wouldn’t be surprised! *lol*
Great picture for this week’s photo hunt.
Lifecruiser: Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it
A youthful geyser! How original! Wasn’t expecting to see one of those for the SPH!
Toodles~
ICL
Lifecruiser: No, that’s why I liked the idea so much myself
What a great “youth” picture. I would have never thought of that as one; but, it’s great.
I am so jealous of all your adventures. Someday, I hope to travel a lot more.
Thanks for stopping by!
Lifecruiser: Thanks. Well, I hope that you’ll be able to travel more in the future, because it’s so interesting and fun, so I really wish that pleasure for everybody
