Another beach view at Fårö island, Gotland, at Sweden’s east coast. This is Skärsviken beach, one of the smaller beaches at the island, but equally nice as the bigger beaches.

This summer though, the weather has been quite windy and unusually chilly to be in the middle of the Swedish summer unfortunately. I haven’t been swimming in the Baltic Sea even once this summer and we’re soon going home again, on Tuesday actually.

My hopes goes to our Europe trip…

This was a text on a T-shirt in one of the clothes stores down at Visby town, Gotland island where we have been several times during our holiday now. The text in English means: Working? No, holiday! And that is exactly what we’re having!

The text "Jobbe?? Naj semesta" is actually Authentic Gotlandic and not pure Swedish. Gotland island also have it’s own very old language called Gutamål, which can be quite difficult to understand even for us Swedes sometimes.
