If you are planning to go on Cancun Holidays, there is an unusual attraction you absolutely should check out before anything else: the underwater art museum in Cancun, Mexico.

I’m sure you’ve already heard of the fantastic underwater sculptures created by the internationally renowned sculptor Jason DeCaires Taylor…?

The Underwater Art Museum is a project created to become artificial reefs in Cancun and Isla Mujeres, two main tourist destinations in the Mexican Caribbean. It’s 403 (!) life-size concrete statues is a wonderfully creative and most unusual tourist attraction – besides creating new coral reefs.

It’s the largest underwater artificial art attractions in the world and one of those unique attractions which you don’t see every day or at every tourist destination.

Check it out for yourself at Underwatersculpture.com.

I’ve heard about this place, also nothing but good things! Mexico is full of surprises. One for me was the the Anthropology Museum in Mexico City ( http://www.mexicocityvibes.com/anthropology-museum-mexico-city.html ). I rank this museum as one of the top in the world. Completely unexpected.
