Promoting an older blogger

Mrs Lifecruisers Mom Lifelessions blog

We’re going out all day today, testing our car (!), shopping and visiting Mom Lifecruiser. So I will share another blog with you so you get something totally different to read in the meantime.

I don’t normally do this, but as it runs in the family, I would like to introduce you to my old mothers blog, Lifelessions.

There should be a lot more of older bloggers out there, it’s so educational to read!

Go to Lifelessions, the old chick blogger

Cruise list: Sisiggy, Dot, Mrhaney, and Dirty Butter.

Well, hello, daughter! Now how do you know that you’re not already reading an “older blogger’s” blog hehehe?? I’m no spring chicken, myself. Now I’ll be reading your blog, too, now that I know who you are.

Well, Dirty Butter, I have seen very few older bloggers out there, but of course, some of them may not tell how old they are :-) Anyway, it’s nice to have some spreading in the ages.

Thank you mrhaney, we will visit dot soon too!

Hi, Thanks for dropping in at my blog. I`ll also have to thank my friend mr haney for sending you.
I went to your Mom`s blog and read a lot of the posts there. I truly enjoyed reading them. She is a remarkable woman and has a lot of interesting stories to tell about. I feel proud to know her. I love hearing older folks who keep trying even when life has given them many rough things to handle in their life. Your Mom is one to be proud of. I wish her all the best. So nice that she has youto help her with her blog. Good luck with the car.

Thanks Dot for your kind words, we enjoyed visiting your blog too :-)
Yes, I’m very proud of my Mom, it’s amazing how she is struggling and still she can laugh. I wish that I can be like her when I’m in her age!
    Take care.

Your mother’s blog is amazing! Having taken care of my Dad in and out of nursing homes, I really thought I knew what was going on in his head. But she has really given me some insight into what a lot of what he was trying to tell me meant (he’d had a stroke, so his speech wasn’t too clear anyway). She’s so candid about everything!

Thank you for your nice words sisiggy. Yes, she has always been very candid and open about everything, it makes things so much easier.
It’s tough for her now because she has problems with the speech - luckily we understands her (better than the staff does).
The main thing is to make them feel like you have all the time in the world to wait for them to get out the words and not stressing them, that will only makes things worse.
