| Notice the very comfy saddles we had on the guest ranch Estancia Aventura in Paraguay. Double layers of sheep skins, say no more! Not only the riding tours were comfy, but also the whole stay there. Very nice climate, some rain every 8th day which made it very green. We did cool off in the swimmingpool. One of a lifetime comfy experience!

The Statue of Christ
Here we stand, looking up to him, blessing the city with open arms, on the mountain of Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on our trip in Nov-Dec 2005. The Corcovado mountain (looks like a hunchback) is 710 m tall (about 2,400 feet). The Statue of Christ stands about 30 meters high (100 feet), covered in a mosaic of soapstone. You have a wonderful view from up there, over Rio, Copacabana and Sugar Loaf mountain. This time I was not only covered in sweat because of the scary height, it was hot outside and a lot of walking in stairs too!
Whisper: Probably the only time I’ll get the possibility to get a shot of Christ…

You can never capture the feeling when being served by the housewife like you were the king & queen ;-)
This is a very noble Scottish breakfast we had in our very noble favorite Scottish Castle - and for once, we succeeded to remember to take a snapshot of it BEFORE we’ve started to eat it…
One thing that we didn’t capture though, was the tea, toasts, home made scones and marmelade, the sweetened grapefruit segments…
*droooling very heavily now*
Monster wrooooar: It’s not nice to choose this theme! How difficult was it for this hungry monster to choose between food pictures? It’s like torture! Like some one that pulls your nails out. Forced me to eat during the whole process!

What I like the most with gardens, is the total difference of flowers I find there. I never get bored, because even if it would be the same plants, it’s always in a changing phase, arranged differently or something else is happening.
The photos above is an excellent example of this difference:
1) An Asian orchid which if you look close (click to enlarge), looks like it has a face - a creature with wings?
2) A flower that looks like a very colorful bottlebrush!
3) Even the center of the flowers can differ completely and tickle your fantasy. This one looks like antennas…
4) What is this? A group of tongues? Lady’s meeting? *lol*
This is just a few examples. Mother Nature is truly amazing with all her creations. I think that we very often take all this for granted, instead of really appreciate them.
What would the world be without all the flowers?
[Scary thought hah?]
Flowers really makes a difference - especially when Mr Lifecruiser brings them home to me ;-)

In a Jeep on the Greek island Crete 2004. Down in the low hill landscape - otherwise there is stunningly beautiful, high, narrow mountain roads (no fences!), which made me covered in sweat every time we arrived at our goal.
Not for sensitive persons:
Mr Lifecruiser had nightmares about falling from the loose edges. We almost succeeded once when we came around a mountain (height 1600 m/5250 ft) and the wind grabbed the roof (fabric) of the jeep and almost swept us away down the mountain side! Mr Lifecruiser had to step on the acccelerator to avoid it. That was a little bit too close of being blown away! I had no intention to start a new trend of Jeep surfing…
