 Nice ass. Yours??..

 I haven’t rode one of them in years!!! Would love to again though… the live on the edge and that rocks!!! :) Great WW Mine is up as well!
Lifecruiser: This one was really on the edge and rocks, because it was on the island Crete in Greece and there is very high mountains and the roads are very narrow ones. Perfect place to have them.

I really like this photo but am wondering where his rider is. Yes, I have a curious nature. *s*
Lifecruiser: Yes, at that time we first spotted him, we were wondering that too, because the owner wasn’t to be seen anywhere. He had left him there on the road to do some work elsewhere, we saw him at the side of the road later. But it was a funny sight that he just stood there.

If that donkey could speak he would say he was out of gas.
Lifecruiser: Hehe, yes, and I hope he was out of the natural gas too!!!! Eeeek.

It’s almost like he’s watching and waiting for his rider!!! Great photo.
Thanks for dropping by my W W today.
Ver well behaved he is, kind of parked there, patiently waiting to do his duty.

Happy WW! the donkey looks lonely… he probably doesn’t like the cement road, lol. This is not in Sweden, right? (love the way you can list your commenters right after the post and the way you can individually respond to each comment!!)
Yes, we were kind of amazed to find him alone there when we came driving. It’s on the Greece island Crete. There were high mountains and narrow roads there, even if it doesn’t show on this photo. We saw more donkeys carrying stuff. Sometimes with a rider and sometimes withe riders wife going way behind the rider…. Yes, the commenters list is one of my fav’s too, giving you some credit for commenting. And it’s easier to answer direct on the actual comment than have to scroll down to find the answer.

Wow, very eco-friendly and runs on hay! My WW is up.
Lifecruiser: And he talks too… *lol*

Now that’s something you don’t see every day on the side of the road! Pretty little pack mule!
Lifecruiser: Personally I find this donkey very pretty. We saw others that weren’t at all in the same good shape as this one.
May 31st, 2006 at 2:41 pm
I didn’t expect to see a donkey today! lol
Great WW!
Lifecruiser: No, I guess it isn’t every day we see one…. Maybe I am one though….*lol*
May 31st, 2006 at 2:46 pm
Was he abandoned?
My WW is up too.
Lifecruiser: No, the owner was out on the fields and had parked him there temporarily, but it looked that way at first.

That is so great. I’ve always wanted to ride a donkey along the Grand Canyon - but I suppose Greece was way better!
Lifecruiser: Especially Crete because the whole islands is having high mountains and when you shall drive from north to south (and you do that a lot!), you have to pass these high mountains all the time. Stunnung breathtaking views, but also quite frightening for me as I’m afraid of heights….

He looks so lonely. :) Where was the photo taken?
My WW is up!
Lifecruiser: The owner was on the fields somewhere. It was on the Greek island Crete.

what an ass he is making of him self:razz:
Lifecruiser: Yes, and a big ass… in the way ;-)
May 31st, 2006 at 4:47 pm
He doesn’t appear to be in the mood to move! Nice picture!
Lifecruiser: No, I thought he looked like he was almost sleeping and find life tiresome…
May 31st, 2006 at 5:20 pm
he looks ready to go!
Lifecruiser: Do you think that? I think he’s on a break and want it to last for long.
May 31st, 2006 at 6:29 pm
that donkey seems to be pondering over something…lol! mine’s up! ;)
Lifecruiser: Maybe what we were for strange people coming forward to him with cameras when he only wanted peice and quiet..
May 31st, 2006 at 6:34 pm
What’s on his back? He looks like he needs to ask for directions!
Lifecruiser: Well, it seemed to be some kind of home made pack saddle.
May 31st, 2006 at 6:47 pm
Aww, he looks sad! Donkeys always look sad don’t they?
My WW is up!
Lifecruiser: Yes, they do. Maybe we should too if we had their lifes… *lol*
May 31st, 2006 at 7:02 pm
Talk about a way to save gas. Maybe I need one of those!
Lifecruiser: Maybe we’ll end up there eventually ;-)
May 31st, 2006 at 8:30 pm
He looks so lonely.
Lifecruiser: Yes he does. It was quite surprising finding him standing there alone.
May 31st, 2006 at 8:40 pm
That looks like Greece!
Very cute photo!
Heehaw!
:)
My
Worldess Wednesday is up!
Lifecruiser: Yes, it sure does and is!
May 31st, 2006 at 9:56 pm
Some of there comments are so asinine, but mine isn’t right? B)
Lifecruiser: Well, I kind of associate it with theirs anyway… *lol*
May 31st, 2006 at 10:45 pm
Giddy up little boy!!
Lifecruiser: I thought that I saw him moving one of his ears… *lol*
May 31st, 2006 at 10:48 pm
I would have never guessed it was Greece! Maybe someday I’ll get to go visit, but I didn’t even realize I could ride a donkey while I was there :-D
Lifecruiser: Well, maybe you didn’t thought of it because it wasn’t particularly appealing to you :-)
June 1st, 2006 at 12:06 am
Who’d of thunk I’d come here and see you showing your ass…..
Lifecruiser: Surprising hah? Isn’t it a fine piece of ass? *lol*

“No Give and Take. No Exchange of Thought. It gets you nowhere, particularly if the other person’s tail is only just in sight for the second half of the conversation.”
Eeyore from “The House at Pooh Corner” by A. A. Milne
[heh] I figured that was better than echoing the ‘nice ass’ sentiments. :)
Lifecruiser: Though I do like the nice ass sentiments, I also like variation, so this was a nice one :-)
June 1st, 2006 at 1:31 am
Nice Ass. Looks like he’s looking out at those mountains thinking “wheres the truck, I’m not hauling you up those hills!”
Lifecruiser: Maybe he was on a strike, the union had put him out… *lol*
June 1st, 2006 at 2:09 am
There is just something cool about a donkey…
Did you get to ride him?
Lifecruiser: Well, no ride no. We’re kind of in a hurry… *lol*
June 1st, 2006 at 2:42 am
We have donkeys but they are on farms with the horses and cows and don’t have sadles on them hehe
Lifecruiser: They are useful to a lot of things. Mostly they were packed with things… and the man riding on top too - but his wife walking way behind!!!
